9/11

So today I'm all about remembering 9/11 which has been pretty difficult considering the fact that I don't remember it but mom told me the story so her it goes.

Mom and I were watching Sesame Street while Megan was at school and then Daddy called and said that the twin towers had been knocked down so mom changed the channel and we watched what was going on. Of course being one I have no memory of it.

Later on my 4th birthday Grandma and Grandpa Fox gave me a book called "The Man that Walked Between the Towers". It was about a man named Phillipe that walked on a cable between the twin towers just after they had finished building them. So when they got crashed down I'm glad that in the back of the book it reminds you of that.

I read that book to Alison and she asked if it was a true story and I said yes I told her about how terrorists highjacked an airplane and flew it into the twin towers.

Anyway I hope that we can all remember the people that helped us through 9/11. My Language Arts teacher Mrs. Haselhorst said that today any military people we know or that is serving and thank them for there service.

Heat, Haircuts, School, and Trombones

HEAT
It's been SO hot. We broke a record of most hot days EVER!! It was such a pain but now ahhhhhhhhhh one of my favorite scents FALL!!

HAIRCUTS
I GOT A HAIRCUT!!!! It's so cute!! It's going to take some getting used to but I think its worth it. A person that I know used to like to touch my hair all the time but now he can't and he's very sad.

SCHOOL
My school is amazing!! The only problem I might have is my locker. It sometimes doesn't like to open. Oh well.I like all my teachers especially Mr. Goter (band teacher), and Mr. Johnson (math teacher). My other teachers are Ms. Dillenger (social studies), Mr. Clark (science), Mrs. Haselhorst (language arts), and Senora Norris (Spanish).

TROMBONES
dancing to music I GOT MY TROMBONE! I GOT MY TROMBONE! His name is Oliver i chose that name because its the oldest trombone they had. He's lovely no if only i could figure out the positions (the book isn't very descriptive).

Seven Days of August (to the tune of 12 Days of Christmas)

Okay it's not perfect but it works:

On the first day August what I-I-I-I did: was enroll for si-ixth grade.
On the second day August what I-I-I-I did: try to see Kung Fu Panda 2 and enroll for sixth grade.
On the third day of August what I-I-I-I did:sleepover with Merry, try to see Kung Fu Panda 2 and enroll for sixth grade.
On the fourth day of August what I-I-I-I did: Rock River Rapids, sleepover with Merry, try to see Kung Fu Panda 2 and enroll for sixth grade.On the fifth day of August what I-I-I-I did: Murder Mystery Party!!!! Rock River Rapids, sleepover with Merry, try to see Kung Fu Panda 2 and enroll for sixth grade.
On the sixth day of August what I-I-I-I did: painted Megan's room, Murder Mystery Party!!!! Rock River Rapids, sleepover with Merry, try to see Kung Fu Panda 2 and enroll for sixth grade.
On the seventh day of August what I-I-I-I did: today was fast Sunday painted Megan's room, Murder Mystery Party!!!! Rock River Rapids, sleepover with Merry, try to see Kung Fu Panda 2, and ENROLL FOR SIXTH GRAAAAAADDDDDDEEE!!!!!!!!

Kid History

Okay this is hilarious.This family told stories within their family and the kids told the story how they interpreted it.

Episode One is kinda funny (Favorite Line: Don't punch.......our car.)



Episode Two is weird (Favorite Line: "Let's use or Ninja stuff. That will look cool." "Do we have Ninja stuff?" "No.")



Episode Three is AMAZING!! (Favorite Line: Anything with "Combletos". (Hot Dogs) Plus their spanish :P)



Episode Four is AMAZING!! (also) (Favorite Line: FACT! And the dad's pause it's EPIC!!! )



Episode Five is really funny! (Favorite Line: NINJA VANISH!!!! Plus I came a-LONE!)

The Week at Glance.

So this week one of the main things I did this week was watch Angel, the most amazing TV show (for right now). So a women in our ward named Sister Fowler showed Megan a kind of crappy episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer (one with Nathan Fillion as an evil priest) any way so Angel leaves the Buffy series and *viola* you have the crime fighting vampire with a soul and his side kicks Cordelia Chase, and Doyle (Doyle dies so now it's Wesley.) So rest of the week:

Monday:
We went to World Market where I bought a tea infuser mug. And we went to the pool nothing special just the pool we saw it a lot this summer because of the heat. Also mom and I hosted July's mother daughter book club where we were talking about the book Brooklyn Nine and August's book is My Side of the Mountain.

Tuesday:
We went to the pool,was lazy, watched TV (Angel :P) and went to Hobby Lobby. The most exciting thing that happened was when my friend Maddie came over for a sleepover.

Wednesday:
P.P.TV (Piano, PAD (primary activity days) and TV) That was basically the entire day.

Thursday:
Over the course of the summer I have had homework to read three books and summarize them plus make vocab words. Any way on Thursday I went to the Pre-AP meeting where I realized something, I don't fit in with my classmates. They're all one way only way kind of people like the teacher but i tended to do stuff differently (which I guess is a good thing in a way). And then in the afternoon we went swimming.

Friday:
We went shopping for Megan's room; Bed, Bath and Beyond, Bath and Body Works (soap for mom), Claire's (for me :P), Target (once we got inside Target it started to pour outside), Lowes (by the time we left Lowes it was sprinkling), Pier 1 (by the time we got to Pier 1 it stopped raining completely.), Home Depot the finally home. And our bonding time for the day was the Daddy-Daughter date of going out to the Murphy's and watching Tangled on the side of their barn, we did this while mom got to go see a buff, blonde, Norwegian dude.

Saturday:
Alison's princess party (which I helped run) then we all laid it low. Then around 1 Megan left for her Student Senate Party. We eventually did our chores around 3. When Megan returned home she had to do her chores, (so we went swimming) also she watched the last episode of Angel in season 1. After swimming we ate dinner and then Alison and Kristen watched musical bits and then went to bed. I stayed up and watched the last episode of Angel that Megan watched, then I watched Top Gun with my parents. I really liked the character Goose, but my mother refrained to tell me that he dies so when he did I cried and cried and CRIED, I sniffled and teared through the rest of the movie ( I really wasn't paying attention after Goose died).

Most watched TV shows of mine: The Glee Project, Angel and Covert Affairs.
