My Young Women’s Poem

My Young Women’s Poem
By Caitlyn Fox

A beehive is a little girl
Just starting to bloom
She’ll learn the dance
She’ll learn the ways
She’ll know her place soon.

A mia maid-a special girl
 Her emblem is a rose
With love and faith
And charity
Her testimony grows.

A laurel-a leader
Her victory is great
She is the queen
Of the faith
    She’s crowned at the gate.

  Young Women’s is a special place
For girls large and small
They learn the ways
They learn his will
 It helps them to walk tall.

Beehive, laurel, mia maid
Perfect to at tee
We’ll grow up
And we’ll go far
   But it’s what we’ll always be.

Life is Pain Highness Anyone Who Says Otherwise is Selling Something.

"Life is hard...if it isn't then it's not life."
"Well thanks mom, all of my problems have gone magically away."
"I don't like this attitude you've been giving me later Sara."
"It's just- nevermind."
"What?"
"NOTHING! GOSH MOM! MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS!!!"
"Oh so we're shouting now? Good, 'CAUSE I CAN SHOUT TOO! WHY SARA? WHY? WHY DO YOU DELIBERATELY DISOBEY ME! WHY DO YOU SULK ALL THE TIME!"
"BECAUSE ME LIFE IS A LIVING HELL!"
"Oh Sara....you are SUCH a drama queen. Nothing else so might I ask why is you life a living hell?"
"Because of back-stabbing bitches, failures, homework, stress, inconsiderate people...shall I go on?"
"Sara, It just sounds like middle school. I don't see why you're so hormonal...crying and shouting. That's all you ever do besides not eating. And why don't you? I don't know BECAUSE YOU'VE NEVER TOLD ME!!"
"FINE! Want me to tell you why I don't tell you the truth about my life at school is because you NEVER EVER LISTEN!"
"I do too listen."
"Oh really....what's my best friends name?"
"Violet."
"Mom...Violet's my cousin. My friend's name is Merida. Which you would know if you LISTENED!"
"FINE! Whatever I'm not going to fight."
"Good because I leaving." Sara walked away slamming her door behind her. When Sara entered her room she had to rush to her bathroom to throw up. Sobbing she grabbed a piece of paper.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Sara. Come down! We need to talk."
Silence.
"Sara?! Come down or else I'm coming up."
Silence.
"Alright Sara." As Sara's mom entered Sara's room she gasped Sara was laying lifeless on her bed a knife on the floor her black hair cascading down the side, blood dripping out of her wrist-out of her pale skin her chocolate eyes staring blankly at the wall.
"Oh Sara....why?" Then she saw the crumpled up piece of paper she grabbed it and opened it. It read:
I'm so sorry, especially to you mom. I just couldn't do it. The stress the bullying. I was never pretty like the other girls. I was just plain. And don't get mad at me for throwing myself a pity party mom. But it was too much the demand overwhelmed me. I'm so sorry-forgive me.
