Les Miserables

This movie...this movie sucker punched me in my feelings. It's just perfect. Here are (in my opinion-mom,) the report cards-basically, for the stars to show how well I think they did. I give the movie 5 stars- made me cry, loved the music, and it was beautiful to look at.

Merry Christmas!!

Here's a segment of one of my favorite Christmas books:

Oh Merry Christmas, Happy Christmas everything related to Christmas you fabulous people!!

Scrooge was better than his word. He did it all, and infinitely more; and to Tiny Tim, who did not die, he was a second father. He became as good a friend, as good a master, and as good a man, as the good old city knew, or any other good old city, town, or borough, in the good old world. Some people laughed to see the alteration in him, but he let them laugh, and little heeded them; for he was wise enough to know that nothing ever happened on this globe, for good, at which some people did not have their fill of laughter in the outset; and knowing that such as these would be blind anyway, he thought it quite as well that they should wrinkle up their eyes in grins, as have the malady in less attractive forms. His own heart laughed: and that was quite enough for him.
He had no further intercourse with Spirits, but lived upon the Total Abstinence Principle, ever afterwards; and it was always said of him, that he knew how to keep Christmas well, if any man alive possessed the knowledge. May that be truly said of us, and all of us! And so, as Tiny Tim observed, God bless Us, Every One!

Every Soul A Star

Every Soul A Star is possibly the most magical, wonderful, special book ever written. I have read it over a trillion times and yet every time I’m still subdued by the pure amazingness of this book. It stars three children all alike in dignity but with entirely different stories. Ally a girl that has no memory of life outside of Moon Shadow, Bree a future prom princess who wants to be anything but here in Moon Shadow and Jack the boy that dreamed he could fly. It’s magical, witty, and by the end of it if you don’t want to see an eclipse there’s something mentally wrong with you. It’s a story about new beginnings, change and making friends. It’s perfect for all ages and something I would want everyone to indulge in.

Why Do I Miss My Mom So Much?

I really really really miss my mom. I love her so much and I wish she was here right now. I miss her laugh and smile. I miss her advice and I just generally miss her. I love you mom.

Miss My Mom...Love My Dad

I don't know if I'm crying while I write this because of the pain of my head and stomach ache or from me missing my mom. After mom left I got hit with wave of insomnia. I've been getting major headaches. But I really really really miss my mom (I love you mom) but you know what I love my dad. I mean really I really really love my dad. He gives great advice about everything and he's the best dad in the world and now I'm crying again. Ow this really hurts my head. Anyway hope y'all have a good week and a good night's rest (I hope I do.) Love you dad, love you mom (have fun at the yoga retreat.)

The Trip Of A Lifetime

So perfectly beautiful.

My Young Women’s Poem

My Young Women’s Poem
By Caitlyn Fox

A beehive is a little girl
Just starting to bloom
She’ll learn the dance
She’ll learn the ways
She’ll know her place soon.

A mia maid-a special girl
 Her emblem is a rose
With love and faith
And charity
Her testimony grows.

A laurel-a leader
Her victory is great
She is the queen
Of the faith
    She’s crowned at the gate.

Young Women’s is a special place
For girls large and small
They learn the ways
They learn his will
It helps them to walk tall.

Beehive, laurel, mia maid
Perfect to at tee
We’ll grow up
And we’ll go far
But it’s what we’ll always be.
